Laura Bandy joined the CSNTM team full-time as the Research Library Director earlier this fall. Though she now steps into a new role on the team, Laura has taken part in CSNTM work and events since 2016, when she interned at the Center.
As the Research Library Director, Laura manages CSNTM’s growing collection of physical and digital scholarly works and assists with curation and acquisition. Laura also serves as a digitization specialist on the research team. She and a few select others devote significant time to developing excellent digitization practices. In these two roles, Laura will have the opportunity to collaborate with other scholars who utilize CSNTM resources and contribute to Center work.
Her kind and welcoming demeanor paired with her keen attention to detail make Laura an excellent addition to our research team. She delights in learning and teaching others, but can also “geek out” about Korean pop music (K-pop) and dramas.
While she completes her final semester in the Th.M. program at Dallas Theological Seminary, Laura looks forward to further developing research skills with the CSNTM team. In her own words, “I am delighted to be using CSNTM’s premier digitization equipment and have enjoyed working with our growing holdings at the Research Library. CSNTM continues to increase its wealth of resources available for textual critics, and I am excited to help these scholars accomplish excellent work.”
