Meet the 2025-26 CSNTM Interns!

At CSNTM, we are dedicated to ensuring that the New Testament you read most accurately reflects the original words of the apostles and early witnesses of Jesus Christ. In support of this mission, we promote and train promising textual scholars through our internship program!

This year, these exceptional interns will undergo rigorous training in New Testament textual criticism. They will engage in reading seminars, critical text assignments, and personal research, all under the guidance of Dr. Daniel B. Wallace and the CSNTM Research Team. Our Interns play a vital role in CSNTM’s mission to preserve, share, and study Greek New Testament manuscripts, and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to mentor, inspire, and work alongside each of these students!

Jillian Whicker

My name is Jillian Whicker. I live in Northern Virginia with my husband and daughter. I recently graduated with my master’s in biblical Languages and Exegesis from Liberty University. I am passionate about the work of CSNTM and I praise God for this opportunity to be molded into God’s biblical scholar through this organization. God willing, I am hoping this training will enrich my pursuit of earning a Ph.D. and enable me to break into the field of New Testament Textual Criticism

Zach Turner

Hello! My name is Zach Turner. I’m a born and raised Texan from a small city in the hill country outside of Austin. Now, my wife, Madison, our daughter, and I live in Irving. Currently, I’m working on my M.Div. at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth. Lord willing, I aspire to earn a Ph.D. to better serve Christ and His Church. I’m excited for the training I will receive during this internship, as I believe it will help me become an excellent Christian scholar.

CSNTM Intern

I am currently pursuing a dual Masters in Thelogical studies with concentration in the NT and OT (second) at the Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary. After coming across Bruce Metzger’s works I became interested in the Textual Criticism. I hope to pursue PhD in the NT in order to prepare for service as a seminary professor. Since I came to know the Lord I received special hunger for the Word of God and after reading many versions of Bibles I became interested in the original Greek NT MS. I am privileged to study and conduct research with the CSNTM team on a Greek MS that was not studied before.

On Thursday, September 18, we will be participating in North Texas Giving Day—a local giving extravaganza—to raise $20,000 for the training of our three exceptional interns. Every dollar contributed on NTX Giving Day will be matched and will directly support the internship program! Will you join us in supporting this year’s cohort by making a contribution?
